AT-6G, Luftwaffe

The revival of the Luftwaffe occurred in a modest ceremony, on September 24, 1956, when it was born, the new air weapon did so after many years of not having a single aircraft, there were pilots, some very experienced, but one of the conditions of the surrender of the last war, was the total military demobilization, the design, manufacture or possession of any type of airplane by the German government would not be allowed, so the military personnel had to dedicate themselves to other activities.

The growing threat of the Soviet Union led to a rethinking of the situation, the new enemies made the Germans see as the new friends, in a series of meetings, it was decided to recreate the German armed forces, under a new formation and without inheriting any of the traditions of old Nazi or imperial Germany, that day a T-6G (AA-601), a T-33 (AB + 101) and a Piper L-18 (AS-501) were delivered, to train the pilots Germans in the technologies emerged in the last 10 years.
