Stay Home, with Style

I am already ready for these weeks of being at home necessarily, I have a mountain of models ready, those old models that we always leave "for later", "for when I have time", this time I will have time to enjoy the hobby at home.

Some I have had for decades, like the PZL-11, others I just got, but the point is not that, but I can relax, with a brush in hand and enjoy the running of the bulls, which seen in this way is almost a religious retreat, to rest and enjoy my soul.

For years I want to complete my Corsairs collection with one of those who fought in Guadalcanal, one of the aces, in Non Specular Sea Blue and stars in six positions

This rare German tank destroyer was one of the lesser-known Luftwaffe planes, I haven't researched enough yet, but as always I will choose the decoration of some historically important aircraft.

The PZL-11 is a rare model, almost no one produces it, this Polish fighter was destroyed by the Luftwaffe, I will build it with some ace or with the owl squad or maybe a Greek version.

This I already have decided it will be from the Emiliano Zapata Squad of the Luftwaffe

This F-100 I plan to paint in highly polished Natural Metal, experimenting with new materials to leave it like a mirror in some parts.

How about an F-20 with FAM insignia?

And also this old model of Lodela, in my collection of Stukas I do not have any with Mexican insignia.

I will stay at home, I will dedicate myself to painting, staying at home is our best opportunity to get away well, I hope that you are prepared not to go out except for food.

But do not forget, it is also an opportunity to do other things, such as dinner with wine at home with your wife, improve the quality of the relationship now that there is time, seducing your wife is a fun sport, enjoy being at home.

Su-27 Mexican Navy

As a continuation of the previous entry, an example of the application of Mexican triangles to an airplane that has never served in the country, V.Gr. a Sukhoi 27 of the Mexican Navy, all the insignia and codes have been made by hand, using the techniques already described.

In fact, if there was the possibility that the Su-27 served in the Navy, for a long time it has been sought to create a naval combat weapon, essential for the maritime control of our territorial seas, to give support and coverage to surface ships and for the punctual defense of oil wells, refineries and ports in the Gulf of Mexico, according to some sources, the Navy negotiated the purchase of several Su-27s, even sending pilots to train Russia or Ukraine, but the deal was canceled by the present administration, the planes were sold to Venezuela or Malasya.

In any case, paint the model following the paint guidelines of the Mexican Navy, two-tone camouflage Light Seagull Gray and Dark Seagull Gray, the triangles decided not to paint them in low visibility, preferred to have them very visible and showy, that stand out intensely, It belongs to my collection of fantastic planes of the FAM, Armada de Mexico, if you want to see a Me-109E, a Corsair F4U1 or an F-14 with Mexican insignia, see my site dedicated to this fantastic collection.

Model Lee, El Viejo Marino paint, brush technique, modeler Sergio Tellez, photographed using a Polaroid PDC 5355 camera, on one of the least cloudy days of the last week.
